For a Halloween eyeball cookie recipe, can you substitute marsh mellow cream for peanut butter?
admin answers:
You can create peanut butter eyeballs, yes. Very easily, check the link in the sources for info.

Do you have a fun Halloween food recipe?
I am looking for some fun recipes for my family to make on Halloween. So far I have found Mummy Pizzas, Edible Eyeballs and Pumpkin Smoothies. I am looking for appetizer type foods or snacky things that resemble fun Halloween things. I don’t want them to be too complicated or take too long to make. They also have to be kid friendly. Thanks!!!!!
admin answers:
Get the pasta made with squid ink. It’s black and looks great with the red spaghetti sauce. When serving, put a slice of black olive on a meatball for eyes.
My kids loved it and it doesn’t taste any different from regular pasta.

Gorey Body Part Halloween Recipes?
I have a halloween party coming up and I’m looking to turn thet table into a coffin with all the various treats inside.. i got ham-n brain dip, stomach stew, corpse fingers and bone crackers – I’m looking now for one more themed recipe. I need one with some kind of pie – maybe with eyeballs or whanot cooked inside?
admin answers:
Bloody bones. Take breadstick dough (like the ones in the tube made by Pillsbury). Tie a knot at each end and bake to make it look like bones … Serve with marinara sauce.
Worms, blood and eyeballs = spaghetti, sauce with eyeball sized meatballs.
Green lime jello with halloween hard candies (eyeballs, bats, etc.) is always good.
Have fun!

7 Cut pepper strips into thin pieces; place around guacamole.
8 Place cilantro along edges of pepper strips.

Carol asks…
What are some good ‘scary’ halloween cookies?
I mean lame sorta things like those cookies that are flesh-toned and then you add red colouring to the end of them, and somehow make them look like a severed finger. Or things that look like eyeballs… I don’t know, any sort of candy I can make, or cookies that are sorta gross is good.
I need some ideas, and recipes.. and google doesn’t seem to have the type of things I want.
Thanks!

Skeleton fingers (cookies)
This is a simple to make treat that looks spooky and tastes great!
1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 small bag sliced almonds (found in the baking isle)
1 tube red decorator gel
1 Cut cookie dough in slices as directed by package
2 Roll each slice into a fat log, this will be the finger
3 Make an indent in the end of each log with the tip of a butter knife to make a nail bed ( do not smash this area flat, just an indent)
4 Use the butter knife to make three slashes just above the nail bed for the first knuckle.
5 Make three slashes a bit higher than the first for the second knuckle.
You can look at your own finger to see how it should look.
6 Bake as directed on package or until light golden brown
7 Remove from oven, let sit on pans for a few minutes then transfer to wire racks
8 While still warm. Fill the nail bed indention with red decorators gel.
9 Place one sliced almond on each nail bed, (rounded end in, pointy side out)
allowing some gel to ooze a bit onto the almond. This is the finger nail.
Let cool and enjoy!
